Where you'll be

Alpena, MI
The home is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The Alpena mapped Bi-Path is a wonderful route that takes you throughout Alpena and along the river and is great for bikers, runners and walkers. There are lovely parks nearby with playgrounds for children. There are sandy beaches 1 mile away with restroom and outdoor shower facilities (seasonal), as well as a beautiful new splash pad during the summer months.

Escape to this quiet retreat away from everyday life and get into the Pure Michigan spirit in Alpena, MI. You will love our extremely safe and family friendly neighborhood conveniently located just a few blocks from the sandy shores of Lake Huron and a short walk to downtown Alpena shopping and restaurants.
The space
This bright and airy home is newly renovated and boasts a beautiful, brand new, well equipped kitchen.

The bathroom is on the main level as well as one bedroom with a queen bed and desk space. Upstairs you’ll find 2 bedrooms. One has a full sized bed, and the other a queen and 2 twins. Also upstairs is a fun kids nook with books and board games.

The ceiling at the top of the stairs and throughout the upstairs area can be low and at different angles. Please watch your head. Reminder signs are posted.

The home does not have central air, but does have a small window unit with remote control in the upstairs queen+twins bedroom. (during the summer months only)

The backyard is fully fenced and perfect for children to play.

Smoking is not allowed on the premises.

All linens and towels will be provided.

Guests can enjoy free high speed internet with wi-fi, 4 Roku smart tvs, and USB equipped table lamps in all bedrooms as well as the living room.

The Roku smart TV’s in the home are not subscribed to cable service but DO have Disney Plus that you are welcome to enjoy.
Guest access
The home is secured using a keypad lock on the door, offering self check-in for our guests. Prior to check in guests will be given a code to the door which is changed on a regular basis. You will have access to the entire home, including front and back decks, driveway, and back yard with large picnic table. Please make yourself at home.
Other things to note
